![]() I know it's a bit late to write an answer, but thought to answer anyways if the info is still needed. ![]() So if one doesn't want to, one doesn't have to use Galaxy at all to update his/her games. You can also download the updated installer which already should contain all the patches released for that particular game. If you don't want to update with Galaxy, you can also go to GOG website and download the patch files from there. This I'm not 100% sure of, but there shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary that would require some extra effort not present elsewhere. Otherwise it possibly works just like with steam where you'll go and seperately download the DLC from the store. When it comes to DLC content, it depends if the DLC is part of an update, in which case it will automatically obtain it. This can be changed at anytime by going to your Library section using Galaxy, and changing it for the games you would like to use the feature on. ![]() Crimson court forces you to balance making progress in the main game and dealing with the court quickly enough so you don’t have an estate. Choosing manual updates you can actually also roll back, so if one update breaks the game for you, you can rather easily go back to a previous working update. Something I like about Darkest Dungeon is that you have to push your heroes very hard to beat boss quests or long dungeons, but the Courtyard didnt have any of that. The difference between Steam Client and GOG Galaxy is that in here you can choose if you want to let it automatically update your games, or if you want to manually update those. I'm rather new here also, but basically GOG Galaxy automatically updates your games if you let it.
